These scripts are intended to simplify your workflow in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro and eliminate redundancies. These scripts were coded using Storyboard Pro 20.1. There are no plans to update them for future versions, so if you’re using them with a later version and there is an issue, please keep that in mind. If you would like to update them yourself or know someone who can, you’re free to do so!

DELETE HIDDEN AND EMPTY LAYERS
GROUP AND MERGE
Select multiple layers to convert them into groups, which will be merged into one layer and organized based on layer placement.
KILL ALL MATTES

Select multiple panels with identically named layers, and move them up or down across the selection.
MARK FIRST FRAME
MASS RENAME LAYERS
Select multiple panels and rename the layers you choose so they’re consistent across your selection. Demo available on YouTube.
PASTE ABOVE OR UNDER LAYER
PASTE CYCLE ACROSS PANELS
Select a looping drawing cycle and paste it across all select panels. Cycling images alternate each panel. Layers will need to be renamed afterwards if you want consistency. Demo available on YouTube.
SET AND RESET CAPTIONS
SPREAD LAYERS TO PANELS
Takes layers on one panel and creates new panels for each layer. User can select foreground and background elements to be used on each panel. Good for users who like to create all acting poses on one panel first. Demo available on YouTube.
